Thomas Hengge is a Staff Photographer for Hearst Magazines, working across Runner’s World, Popular Mechanics, Bicycling Magazine, and Best Products. Before joining Hearst he worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer as a Staff Photographer and Video Journalist on contract.
His photographs and videos have been featured in TIME, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The Associated Press, The Guardian, People Magazine, PBS Newshour and more.
He is a United States Army infantry veteran, graduate of Fordham University and earned an MA in journalism from New York University.
When Thomas is not making photos or videos, he is probably teaching multimedia journalism at NYU, riding his bicycle, or writing about himself in the third person.
